Refund Policy

LAST UPDATED — JANUARY 2026

01 — OVERVIEW

Our work is custom-made: every app, website, and system is built specifically for one client and cannot be resold. Because of that, refunds follow the milestone logic below rather than a blanket money-back rule. Our goal is simple — you only ever pay for value actually delivered.

02 — BEFORE WORK STARTS

If you cancel before paying the down payment or before kickoff, nothing is owed and any pre-kickoff payment is refunded in full within 14 business days.

03 — AFTER KICKOFF

Once work has started, the down payment (typically 50%) is non-refundable — it covers discovery, planning, design setup, and reserved team capacity. For the remaining balance:

  • Milestones not yet started are refunded in full.
  • Milestones in progress are charged pro-rata for completed work; the remainder is refunded.
  • Milestones approved or delivered are non-refundable.

04 — NON-REFUNDABLE COSTS

Third-party costs are never refundable once incurred: domains, hosting, SSL, licenses, stock assets, paid APIs, and app-store (Play Store / App Store) fees. Completed design concepts presented to you are also non-refundable.

05 — BUGS, NOT CHANGES OF MIND

Something broken? That is covered by our 30-day bug-fix warranty after handover — we fix defects in our own work free of charge. A change of mind, new features, or redesign requests are quoted as new work, not refunds.

06 — HOW TO REQUEST

Email hello@iwakudigitalsolution.com with your project name, invoice number, and reason. We review every request within 14 business days and respond with an itemized calculation. Approved refunds go to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

07 — CHARGEBACKS

Please talk to us first — unjustified chargebacks pause all work and deliveries until resolved, and related fees may be added to your balance.
